Objectives

Improve the human resources’ skills in the management of local health centres, strengthen the training given by the Higher Institute for Nursing (ISE) and reinforce regional cooperation in the public health sector.

Results

• Creation and implementation of a common qualification course to produce a team of executive nurses capable of supervising, leading, organising, training and managing healthcare teams or local health centres and addressing the main public health problems in all five countries;
• Implementation of a research programme on best practices in the management of nursing services.

Nursing schools, teaches and head nurses.
Indirect beneficiaries: The general population of the PALOP countries.
