Objectives

Improve the education systems of the five countries, in particular the quality of primary education in the first four years of schooling by strengthening teacher training and developing methodological and pedagogical tools to support their work.

Results

• Production of textbooks and other pedagogical material for primary school teachers of Portuguese, Mathematics, Sciences and Art.
• Primary education teachers better prepared and with more skills in the PALOP countries, in the respective curricular subjects;
• Organisation and improved facilities in the Local Training Centres in each of the PALOP countries, to allow continuous training.

Target groups

Staff of Local Training Centres, primary education teachers and assistants.
Indirect beneficiaries: Primary school pupils in the PALOP countries.
