The meeting, which will take place from 22 to 25 November 2022 in Bilene District, Gaza Province, aims to address issues on the Cooperation Programme of Portuguese-speaking African Countries plus Timor-Leste with the European Union (PALOP-TL and the EU) and the next round of cooperation between the two parties in the period 2021-2027.
During the three days, participants should also follow up on the deliberations of the last Meeting of National Payers, held in November 2021 in Guinea-Bissau, to examine the next round of cooperation between the PALOP-TL and the European Union for the period 2021 to 2027, among other issues.
The PALOP-TL cooperation programme and the EU complete 30 years of existence in 2022, during which the EU has disbursed more than €100 million for projects linked to the consolidation of the rule of law, good financial governance and job creation in the field of culture.
The Angola meeting includes the Directors and/or Representative of the Offices/Support Services of the National Orators of Angola, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe, and Timor-Leste.
