The PROCULTURA PALOP-TL made available, between 2019 and 2020, 44 undergraduate and master’s scholarships for citizens of Portuguese-speaking African Countries and East Timor (PALOP-TL) in the areas of Music and Performing Arts.
According to the PROCULTURA newsletter of December 2021, 21 undergraduate scholarships were awarded (Angola 4, Cape Verde 4, Guinea Bissau 1, Mozambique 5, São Tomé and Príncipe 3, East Timor 3), as well as 23 masters scholarships (Angola 5, Cape Verde 5, Guinea Bissau 1, Mozambique 5, São Tomé and Príncipe 4, East Timor 3). Of the 44 scholarships, 21 were awarded to women – 9 undergraduate and 12 masters.
PROCULTURA is an Action of PALOP-TL Multiannual Indicative Program, financed by the EU, co-financed and managed by Camões, I.P. and also co-financed the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. It aims to contribute to job creation in income-generating activities in cultural and creative economy in PALOP-TL countries.
